Tech Support (Freelance)

Flexing It is a freelance consulting marketplace that connects freelancers and independent consultants with organisations seeking independent talent.

Flexing It has partnered with Our client is a leading global specialist in energy management and automation and is looking to engage a Consultant who can:

• Manage and resolve ServiceNow incidents and service requests for OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Office applications.
• Troubleshoot OneDrive sync issues, storage policies, sharing settings, and collaboration-related issues.
• Support SharePoint Online administration, including permissions, lists/libraries, search, sensitivity labels, and retention policies.
• Provide Exchange Online support, including mail flow, Conditional Access, DLP, AD Connect, DNS, email security, and migration-related issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office applications.
• Perform PowerShell scripting, log analysis (Log Analytics/KQL), and root cause analysis for complex issues.
• Manage P1/Critical incidents while ensuring SLA compliance and effective stakeholder communication.

Skills Required:

• Experience supporting OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills in an enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for ticket and incident management
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for administration and automation
• Experience with Conditional Access, DLP, AD Connect, DNS, Mail Flow, and Exchange migrations
• Familiarity with Log Analytics and Kusto Query Language (KQL)
• Understanding of SharePoint permissions, sensitivity labels, retention policies, and governance
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
