About The Department
- Consolidation & Corporate Treasury Accounting supports financial reporting for multiple legal entities through treasury, investment, and corporate accounting activities. The team prepares regulatory filings, financial analyses, reconciliations, and reporting schedules that support accurate financial statements and business decisions. Team members work closely with Treasury Operations, Tax, Audit, and other finance partners in a collaborative environment. Joining this team provides exposure to complex accounting matters, regulatory reporting, global operations, and cross-functional projects.
Core Responsibilities
- You will process treasury-related journal entries.
- You will prepare and post correcting journal entries.
- You will monitor investment transactions and product launches.
- You will provide daily summaries of investment activities.
- You will reconcile general ledger and source system balances.
- You will prepare month-end schedules and supporting documentation.
- You will perform income statement and balance sheet variance analyses.
- You will analyze accounting classifications for investments.
- You will prepare data for Form 10-Q and Form 10-K reporting.
- You will validate foundational reporting data and schedules.
- You will provide schedules and support to the Tax department.
- You will support internal and external audit requests.
- You will assist with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 compliance activities.
- You will generate reports and analytical insights for stakeholders.
- You will partner with Treasury Operations and cash management teams.
- You will collaborate with colleagues supporting assigned legal entities.
- You will participate in departmental improvement initiatives.
- You will contribute to cross-functional projects.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Inter qualification.
- 5 to 8 years of corporate, treasury, or investment accounting experience.
- Experience with Workday and PeopleSoft financial systems.
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of international accounting and currency translation preferred.
- Consolidation accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with a U.S. multinational corporation preferred.
- Asset management industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with financial systems and automation tools.
- Strong reporting and data analysis capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt.
- Confidence to ask questions and seek clarification.
