About The Department

• The Institutional Services Accounting team manages core investment accounting activities that ensure accurate portfolio records and reporting. The team records transactions, reconciles positions with custodians, and supports portfolio managers with reliable data. You will work with experienced accounting professionals in a collaborative, process-driven environment. This team offers strong exposure to financial markets, operational excellence, and continuous improvement practices.
  

How You Will Add Value
Core Responsibilities

• You will complete reconciliations and daily accounting processes on time.
• You will review and approve transactions exceeding defined thresholds.
• You will resolve cash and security breaks with the team.
• You will monitor reporting timelines and ensure deliverables are met.
• You will prepare accurate reports for stakeholders.
• You will improve processes and update procedures.
• You will support resource planning and team coverage.
  

Problem Solving & Analysis

• You will identify trends and highlight exceptions quickly.
• You will recommend solutions to prevent recurring issues.
• You will support resolution of complex accounting problems.
• You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• You will drive process improvements and system enhancements.
  

Other Responsibilities

• You will contribute to management reporting and analysis.
• You will track and meet performance objectives.
• You will participate in team discussions and initiatives.
• You will maintain updated process documentation.
• You will support special projects when required.
  

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role
Education & Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 3–5 years of financial services accounting experience.
  

Technical Skills

• Understanding of mutual fund accounting and regulations.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with SimCorp Dimension preferred.
  

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• High accountability and initiative.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  

Work Shift Timings - 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
