Audit Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-orientedAudit Internwith hands-on experience in an audit firm to support our finance and compliance team. The intern will assist in audit-related activities, documentation, and financial reviews while gaining practical exposure to internal and statutory audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in internal, statutory, and tax audit activities.
• Support audit planning, execution, and documentation as per audit checklists.
• Verify financial records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparation of audit working papers and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• 
  Coordinate with internal teams to collect required audit information.
• Identify discrepancies and support the team in resolving audit observations.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or pursuing CA/CS/CMA.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to statutory audits, internal audits, or tax audits.
• Familiarity with Tally, ERP systems, or similar accounting tools.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
