Job Description
Position Summary - We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Operations Specialist (Fixed Income) to provide comprehensive investment operations support to a U.S.-based client. This role primarily involves handling back and middle office functions, ensuring smooth transaction processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end trade lifecycle from execution to settlement across asset classes
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliations with internal and external parties
- Monitor and resolve global trade settlement issues
- Process corporate actions, dividends, and interest payments
- Support NAV calculation, reporting, system improvements, client service, and regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in investment operations or a related field.
- Prior experience supporting a U.S.-based asset management firm is required.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of investments (especially bonds), trade lifecycle, and investment operations workflows.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg or other trade order management/investment accounting systems.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Work Schedule
- Indian Standard Time (IST): 12:00 PM 9:00 PM - Mon-Friday
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when necessary.
