ROLE OVERVIEW
My Client is looking for a Business Development Leader to drive the India growth charter for thier AI-powered hiring platform.
This role is a unique opportunity to :
1. Build and scale a new-age SaaS category in India
2. Engage with CXOs (CTOs, CHROs, Talent Leaders)
3. Drive enterprise adoption of AI-led hiring solutions
This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role combining enterprise sales, GTM strategy, and market creation.
KEY MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
A. Market Creation & GTM Leadership :
1. Define and execute the India go-to-market strategy
2. Identify high-potential segments across:
- Tech startups
- Product companies
- Enterprises & recruitment firms
3. Position the platform as a category leader in AI hiring
B. Enterprise Sales & Revenue Ownership
1. Own the end-to-end sales lifecycle :
- Lead generation
- Product demos
- Deal closure
3. Engage and influence CXO-level stakeholders
C. Product Evangelism & Thought Leadership
Educate the market on:
1. AI in hiring
2. Talent intelligence
3. Hiring automation
Represent the company in:
1. Industry forums
2. Client workshops
3. Strategic discussions
D. Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
Build alliances with:
1. Hiring platforms
2. Assessment providers
3. HR ecosystems
- Create co-selling and integration opportunities
E. Customer Success & Growth
- Ensure strong onboarding and adoption
Drive :
1. Account expansion
2. Renewals and retention
Build long-term strategic client relationships
F. Market Intelligence & Product Feedback
Track:
1. Industry trends
2. Competitor landscape
3. Client needs
WE need someone who can Collaborate with product teams to refine offerings
Key Skills & Competencies :
1. Strong experience in Enterprise SaaS / B2B Sales
2. Deep understanding of:

Tech hiring ecosystem
3. Proven ability in:
- Consultative / Solution selling
- CXO stakeholder management
- Pipeline creation & deal closure
4. Exposure to :
AI-driven platforms / automation tools (preferred)
Strong commercial acumen with focus on ARR / revenue growth
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE :
1. 8-12 years of experience in Business Development / Sales
2. Minimum 5+ years in SaaS/HR Tech/Technology sales
3. Experience selling to :
Tech companies
- Recruitment firms
- Enterprise clients
4. Demonstrated success in:
- Building new markets
- Closing complex B2B deals
- MBA from a Tier-1 institute preferred
ROLE IMPACT :
