Job Description

Head - Brand & Marketing Communications
Position Overview:

- Lead brand strategy and integrated marketing communications for a premium consumer durables, fashion, or lifestyle brand.

- Drive consumer engagement, storytelling, and growth in sectors like consumer electronics, lifestyle tech, accessories, wearables, smartphones, and premium consumer brands.

- Oversee ATL/BTL campaigns, digital media, PR, and cross-functional teams to elevate brand equity.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies, including positioning, messaging, and communication plans aligned with business objectives.

- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, and experiential channels; manage budgets and agency partnerships.

- Conduct consumer insights research, analyze market trends, and translate data into actionable campaigns for wearables, smartphones, or lifestyle tech products.

- Spearhead PR, influencer collaborations, and crisis communications to build reputation and drive earned media.

- Collaborate with sales, product, and design teams to ensure consistent brand voice in consumer durables and fashion/lifestyle categories.
Required Experience:

- 10-15 years in brand management, marketing communications, or related roles, with 5+ years in leadership positions.

- Proven track record in consumer-facing industries: consumer electronics (e.g., smartphones, wearables), lifestyle tech, accessories, or premium brands.

- Hands-on experience scaling brands through ATL/BTL, digital marketing, and data-driven campaigns in fast-paced environments.
Education:

- MBA/PGDM from top-tier institutes: MICA, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, XLRI, or SPJIMR.

- Strong academic foundation in marketing, communications, or business strategy preferred.
Key Skills & Competencies:

- Exceptional storytelling, strategic thinking, and execution skills with deep knowledge of Indian consumer behavior.

- Proficiency in digital tools, social media analytics, and emerging trends in lifestyle tech/fashion.

- Leadership to inspire teams; stakeholder management across C-suite and external partners.

- Data-driven mindset for ROI measurement and campaign optimization.
