Job Description
- As an Assistant Vice President - Financial Planning & Analysis at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in leading the Analytics pillar within the corporate finance team. Your responsibilities will include partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple functions to develop and drive financial strategies and newer analytics. Initially, you may act as an individual contributor in setting up the analytics pillar until a team is built.
Your key duties will involve collaborating with various teams within corporate finance, business finance, and controllership to analyze and draw insights around areas such as P&L, Balance Sheet, Sales metrics, and cash. You will be expected to think creatively, excel in storytelling, and possess executive presence. Your expertise in Finance Planning and Analytics/management reporting will be essential in preparing and reviewing Operating Plans, budgets, forecasts, and MIS reports.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for reviewing business performance, providing stakeholders with meaningful insights, and facilitating fact-based decision-making. Your ability to generate insights into business performance and drive improved financial results will be critical. You will also engage in scenario building, competition analysis, and what-if analysis to understand the financial impacts of operational decisions.
We are looking for candidates who are Certified Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, Chartered Financial Analysts, or possess an MBA degree. You should have excellent communication skills, be a great storyteller, and have an executive presence. Attention to detail, team collaboration skills, commercial acumen, and proficiency in tools like Power BI, Excel, and macros are also desired.
