The Opportunity
The Senior Finance Business Partner Asia will serve as a trusted advisor to the Asia and APAC Utilities leadership team, driving financial performance through strategic insight, rigorous analysis, and proactive business partnering. Reporting to the APAC Finance Director, this role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of revenue and operating expenditure (OPEX) reporting, while leading the forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes.
A strong partnership with Group Financial Control and FP&A is essential to ensure

The Specifics
Operational Leadership
Lead the production of accurate and timely management accounts and forecasts, collaborating with Account Executives, Sales, and Project Managers to ensure financial outcomes align with business objectives.
Oversee the end-to-end invoicing process in partnership with Credit Control, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with contractual terms.
Provide robust challenge and guidance to stakeholders, balancing commercial acumen with financial discipline to support high-quality decision-making.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning, encouraging reflection and feedback across the finance and business teams.
Operate with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrating sound judgment and accountability in all aspects of financial management.
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong, influential relationships with senior stakeholders across APAC Utilities and the broader finance function.
Actively shape and contribute to the development and execution of the companys strategic objectives, business plans, and transformation initiatives.
Financial Management & Insight
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in collaboration with Group Financial Control and the wider finance team.
Deliver high-impact financial analysis and commentary on monthly results, forecasts, and strategic plans, translating data into actionable insights.
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
Change Leadership
Proactively fosters a change management culture by challenging and replacing established processes and procedures where necessary.
Stakeholder Engagement & Service Excellence
Set high standards for internal stakeholder engagement, ensuring finance is viewed as a proactive, solutions-oriented partner.
Deliver high-quality outputs and advice, ensuring all materials are complete, professionally presented, and tailored to audience needs
