Job Description
Objective :
To act as a strategic HR Business Partner for the Sales Function and Corporate Office, driving people initiatives that support business growth and organizational objectives.
The role requires an experienced HR professional with strong exposure to all facets of HR, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, HR operations, and stakeholder management.
The incumbent should have substantial experience in partnering with large and geographically dispersed sales teams within a manufacturing organization, with a strong understanding of sales workforce dynamics, business challenges, and people practices that enhance sales effectiveness and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
HR Business Partnering :
- Act as the primary HR partner for the Sales organization and Corporate Office functions.
- Understand business priorities and translate them into effective HR strategies and interventions.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to business leaders on people-related matters.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning :
- Drive manpower planning and hiring for sales and corporate functions.
- Partner with recruitment teams to ensure timely closure of key positions.
- Support succession planning and talent pipeline development.Performance Management :
- Drive the performance management cycle including goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals, and performance calibration.
- Partner with managers to strengthen a performance-driven culture.
- Coach leaders on performance improvement and employee development.
Employee Engagement & Employee Relations :
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, retention, and organizational culture.
- Address employee grievances and employee relations matters effectively.
- Drive communication, change management, and employee connect initiatives.
Learning & Development :
- Identify capability gaps and coordinate learning interventions aligned with business needs.

- Support leadership development and functional capability building programs.
HR Operations & Compliance :
- Ensure seamless execution of HR processes including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, separations, and policy implementation.
- Ensure adherence to company HR policies and applicable labour/statutory requirements.
- Maintain HR governance, documentation, and reporting standards.
HR Analytics & Reporting :
- Track and analyze HR metrics such as attrition, hiring, engagement, productivity, and workforce trends.
- Generate insights and recommendations for leadership decision-making.
Education & Experience :
- MBA in HR.
- 15+ years relevant HR experience with strong exposure as HRBP
- Experience supporting Sales organizations and Corporate Office functions is preferred.
- Exposure to manufacturing, chemicals, industrial, FMCG, pharma, engineering, or similar sectors will be an advantage.
