Position Summary
GIBS Business School is seeking passionate and academically driven professionals for the positions of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor – Artificial Intelligence (AI) to contribute to teaching, research, academic innovation, and industry-oriented learning initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and emerging technologies with the ability to deliver high-quality teaching, mentor students, and contribute to research and institutional development activities.
Candidates with industry exposure, research publications, consultancy experience, and expertise in AI-driven applications will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Delivery

• Teach undergraduate/postgraduate courses related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Business Analytics, and related technologies.
• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, case studies, practical sessions, and project-based learning activities.
• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assessments, and academic resources aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Mentor students in academic projects, internships, research activities, and innovation initiatives.
  

Research & Innovation

• Conduct research and publish papers in reputed national and international journals.
• Encourage innovation, interdisciplinary research, and AI-based applications.
• Guide students and faculty in research projects, paper presentations, and hackathons.
• Apply for funded research projects, patents, and consultancy opportunities.
  

Industry Collaboration & Consultancy

• Build academic-industry collaborations for live projects, certifications, workshops, and guest lectures.
• Support consultancy assignments and executive training programs related to AI and emerging technologies.
• Organize industry interaction sessions, FDPs, seminars, and technical workshops.
  

Academic Administration & Institutional Development

• Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and accreditation-related activities.
• Support institutional initiatives related to rankings, quality enhancement, and academic excellence.
• Contribute to departmental activities, student engagement programs, and institutional events.
  

Qualifications

• PhD or Fellow in the relevant discipline, with a First-Class degree.
• A strong record of publications in reputed ABDC or Scopus-indexed journals is desirable.
• PhD is preferred, but candidates with exceptional industry experience or significant exposure with Business School will also be given serious consideration.
