• 5. Corporate and Commercial Laws
• 6. Environmental Law and Human Rights
• 7. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Mediation and Arbitration

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Publications:

All qualifications and experience shall be as per UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers in universities, read with any subsequent amendments, and as adopted by GITAM (Deemed to be University).

Assistant Professor (Research) – Law

Essential Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Law (LL.M) with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognised Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Ph.D. in Law (or in a closely allied discipline relevant to the advertised specialization), awarded in accordance with UGC regulations on Ph.D. (Minimum Standards and Procedure) or equivalent.[1]

Desirable / Research Profile:

• Demonstrated research potential with at least 5 research publications in peer‑reviewed / UGC CARE‑listed / Scopus‑indexed journals or reputed edited volumes.
• Evidence of participation in research projects, conferences, seminars, workshops, or moot court / clinical legal education initiatives.
• Competence to contribute to ongoing or proposed research centres / projects in the School of Law.

Experience:

Fresh Ph.D. holders with a strong research profile may apply.

Prior teaching and/or research experience at a University / National Law University / reputed Law School / research institution will be an added advantage.
