Job Title: Sourcing Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Sourcing Manager who can identify, evaluate, and procure the right products from the market as per customer requirements and budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product sourcing, vendor management, pricing, and negotiation, with hands-on experience in visiting markets and developing supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source products as per customer requirements, design briefs, and budgets.
- Visit markets, exhibitions, and vendor locations to explore new products, materials, and trends.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure best value.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Evaluate product quality, cost, and reliability of suppliers to ensure consistent standards.
- Work closely with design, merchandising, and buying teams to align sourcing with business needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and price fluctuations to make informed decisions.
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing process from vendor identification to order placement and delivery follow-up.
- Ensure timely procurement and adherence to quality and cost parameters.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in sourcing, buying, or procurement in home dcor.
- Strong vendor network and understanding of local and regional markets.
- Excellent negotiation, costing, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
- Hands-on approach with willingness to travel to markets and vendor sites regularly.
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA or equivalent in Supply Chain/Procurement preferred.
