Why This Role Matters:
Retention isn't just about sending emails-it's about creating the moments that turn first-time buyers into lifelong customers. As our in-house Retention Marketer, you'll be the go-to authority on lifecycle marketing, shaping our internal playbooks and enabling D2C brands to get the absolute best from KwikEngage. You'll operate at the sweet spot where product innovation meets merchant success-bringing practitioner expertise, hands-on execution skills, and a deep understanding of what actually drives retention revenue at scale.
What You'll Own:
- Retention Strategy & Frameworks - Build, test, and refine retention playbooks tailored to different product categories. Define success metrics, train teams on lifecycle best practices, and establish GoKwik as a thought leader in retention.
- Lifecycle Journey Design - Create personalized customer journeys (Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Push, etc.) that drive repeat purchases and incremental ROI for merchants. Continuously optimize campaigns for higher engagement and revenue impact.
- Merchant Enablement & Strategic Support - Partner with merchant success managers to maximize client retention outcomes. Run account reviews, audit existing journeys, design campaign improvements, and turn winning strategies into case studies.
- Product Feedback & Collaboration - Bring real-world retention insights to the product team, influencing roadmap priorities. Build templates, guides, and best-practice content that help merchants unlock value faster.
- Analytics & Impact Measurement - Track campaign performance, report ROI improvements, and share insights across teams to guide both merchant and product strategies.
Who You Are:
- 4-6 years of hands-on retention/lifecycle marketing experience at high-growth D2C brands.
- Proven success driving significant revenue (- 20 Cr+ annually) via CRM channels like Email,
SMS, WhatsApp, Push, etc.

- Deep understanding of segmentation, personalization, and behavioral triggers.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to influence across teams.
- Comfortable interfacing with clients, product, and engineering teams alike.
