Job Description
Job Overview: The Assistant Sales Manager for Corporate and Banquet Sales plays a key role in driving the hotels sales growth by targeting corporate clients and event organizers. This position is responsible for managing and growing the hotels business in corporate, conference, and banquet segments, while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. The role includes prospecting new clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow corporate and banquet sales within the local and regional markets.
- Identify new business opportunities within corporate, conference, and event markets.
- Assist in developing sales promotions and packages targeted at corporate and banquet clients.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Respond to client inquiries, conduct site visits, and provide tailored event solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with hotel policies and client needs.
- Event and Banquet Sales:
- Work closely with the event planning and banquet teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Provide support during event planning, from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up.
- Collaborate with the catering team to customize event menus and packages based on client specifications.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on sales performance and booking trends.
- Assist with the preparation of forecasts and reports on revenue performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Continuously monitor sales efforts and adjust strategies to maximize revenue.

- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work with the marketing team to promote corporate and banquet sales initiatives.
- Coordinate with operations, front desk, and other departments to ensure successful event execution.
- Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and corporate meetings.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Ensure that all client needs are met throughout the booking process and during the event.
- Resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through excellent communication and service delivery.
