Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Category Marketing and Ad Monetisation Lead to spearhead our retail media strategy and drive scalable revenue growth. In this pivotal role, you will sit at the intersection of category management, brand partnerships, and performance marketing, acting as the primary architect for our onsite advertising ecosystem.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, data science, and sales to build high-impact promotional frameworks that enhance user engagement while maximizing monetization yields. By translating consumer insights into actionable deals and ad placements, you will directly influence the platform's bottom line and redefine how our customers interact with brands in a competitive retail landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own category strategy.
- Shape demand through assortment, pricing, and promotion.
- Design and run the deals and promotions calendar with clean ROI measurement.
- Build retail-media business: ad placements, supplier-funded visibility, and commercial model behind it.
