Purpose of the Role
The Maintenance Manager Is Responsible For

• Ensuring all manufacturing equipment, utilities, and infrastructure are available and reliable.
• Minimizing downtime and improving plant productivity.
• Leading CAPEX (capital expenditure) projects.
• Managing safety, statutory compliance, and environmental initiatives.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Reliability
• Ensure plant machinery and utilities are always operational.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Manage spare parts and vendor contracts.
• CAPEX Management
• Design and specify equipment and infrastructure improvements.
• Prepare engineering assessments and cost-benefit analyses.
• 
  Manage procurement, installation, commissioning, and contractors.
• Deliver projects within budget and timeline.
• Cost Management
• Manage annual maintenance budgets.
• Control repair and maintenance expenses.
• Drive productivity, energy savings, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
• Lead plant safety programs and compliance activities.
• Support audits and maintain statutory records.
• Drive environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Team Leadership
• Lead maintenance supervisors, technicians, and contractors.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, Finance, and HR.
  

Qualifications

  Get Hired
  Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering preferred.
• 8–10 years of maintenance experience in Food, FMCG, Pharma, or process industries.
• Experience with:
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
• Utilities Management
• CAPEX Projects
• SAP or ERP systems
