About the Role:

The Asst Manager - IT Ecommerce is a pivotal role within our technology organization to focus on delivering world class digital / ecommerce shopping and instore Omni Channel experience to our customers. This individual will drive the Project delivery, and day-to-day operations of our technology ecosystem for the e-commerce business. Ideal candidate blends deep technical acumen with strong business sensibility and the ability to delivery of cross-functional projects in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Delivery

- Define and execute the IT roadmap aligned to retail and e-commerce business objectives.

- Partner with vendors to deliver projects on the SLA agreed with quality as key.

- Partner with senior leadership to forecast technology delivery timelines.
E-Commerce & Digital Platform Management

- Work with Ecommerce, IT and Vendor teams to ensure performance, and scalability of e-commerce platforms and omni channel capabilities instore (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce & Commerce, etc.).

- Manage integrations across ERP, CRM, and payment gateways.

- Ensure 99.9%+ uptime SLAs for digital storefronts and mobile applications.
IT Operations & Infrastructure

- Oversee enterprise infrastructure including cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).

- Lead IT service management (ITSM) practices - incident, change, and problem management.
Cybersecurity & Compliance

- Work with the Cyber Security team to Implement and maintain information security policies in compliance with PCI-DSS, DPDP, and applicable data privacy laws.

- Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audit cycles.

- Develop and periodically test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) plans.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management

- Manage third-party vendors, SLAs, and technology contracts, driving cost efficiency and quality.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and innovation for ecommerce business.

- Work with the IT Heads on initiatives assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- 6-10 years of progressive IT experience with at least 3 years Ecommerce Delivery role.

- Proven experience in a retail or e-commerce environment with multi-channel technology exposure.

- Hands-on expertise with e-commerce platforms, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise integrations.

- Strong knowledge of IT service management framework.

- Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred:

- Prior exposure to international retail operations or multi-region e-commerce rollouts.

- Delivered e-commerce and multi-channel products for a Jewelry / Retail Chain

- Relevant certifications: ITIL, AWS equivalent.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
