Job Description
- As a Security Advisor, you will be responsible for customizing identity workflows to meet business needs. You must provide advanced troubleshooting of SailPoint IdentityNow (ISC) issues and track and close defects through to permanent fixes. Additionally, you will act as Level 3 Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for SailPoint IdentityNow (ISC) issues.
Your role will involve integrating SailPoint IdentityNow (ISC) with target systems such as AD, Azure AD, SAP, and cloud SaaS apps. You may need to build or modify custom connectors where out-of-the-box solutions do not fit. It is crucial to provide advice on SailPoint best practices and standards while contributing to process improvements and automation within the identity team.
To excel in this position, you must have proficiency in SailPoint IdentityNow. Experience with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards is considered a good-to-have skill. A strong understanding of identity and access management principles, along with experience in security risk assessment methodologies, is essential. Familiarity with cloud service provider security offerings and best practices is also beneficial.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years to 12 years of experience, with at least 3.75 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (or IdentityNow with migration to ISC). Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, SCIM, and modern identity protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OIDC is required.
