Technical Project Manager - Cloud Operations And DevOps - B.O.T

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee projects within our Cloud Operations and Cloud DevOps environments. This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives that drive operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile project management, exceptional leadership and facilitation skills, and the ability to navigate complex technical landscapes while driving projects to completion on time and within budget.
Responsibilities

• Project Leadership and Execution:
  

Plan, manage, and execute complex cloud operations and DevOps projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, including roadmaps, schedules, budgets, and dependency mapping.

• Agile Project Management:
  

Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Manage and prioritize work across multiple sprints and iterations to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

• Cross-Departmental Team Leadership:
  
  

Lead cross-functional initiatives including Cloud Operations, DevOps, Engineering, and Business units, to ensure seamless collaboration.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and provide updates on project status.
Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts, mitigate risks, and address friction that could impede progress. (This is important, we dont operate will with DEV teams and resource and availability to get things done difficult. This person will need to be good here)

• Risk and Issue Management:
  

Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Drive resolution of technical and operational challenges to maintain project momentum.

• Budget and Timeline Management:
  

Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Track and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery within defined scope and budget.
Qualifications And Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on Cloud Operations and/or DevOps.
• Proven experience leading Agile teams and delivering large-scale, complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability to build project roadmaps, dependency plans, and risk management strategies.

  Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, etc.).
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Strong leadership and facilitation abilities, with a track record of influencing and driving consensus among cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflict effectively.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with managing migrations or optimizations of cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices for cloud service management.
