Materials Engineer/ Specialist- Havells R&D

Havells India Limited is looking for a passionate and innovative Materials Engineer (Research & Development) to join our Centre for Research & Innovation (CRI), Noida.

If you have strong expertise in polymer materials, material characterization, formulation development, and product innovation, and are eager to contribute to next-generation electrical and consumer products, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities-

• 
  Lead material research and development activities focused on polymer formulations and advanced material solutions.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new materials, suppliers, and technologies for product innovation.
• Perform material characterization using techniques such as FTIR, DSC, TGA, MFI, Muffle Furnace, and other analytical tools.
• Conduct failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action recommendations for product and material-related issues.
• Evaluate raw materials and finished products for mechanical, thermal, chemical, and electrical performance.
• Benchmark materials, technologies, and competitive solutions to identify opportunities for innovation and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including RoHS, REACH, and other applicable international standards.
• Manage laboratory resources, material databases, testing plans, and project documentation.

Desired Skills

• Strong knowledge of polymers, plastics, additives, fillers, and material formulations.
• Hands-on experience with material characterization and analytical techniques.
• Understanding of electrical and consumer durable product materials.
• Knowledge of material testing standards and regulatory requirements.
