Accounts & Finance Internship In Bhubaneswar

Job Summary
We are looking for an intern (accounts & finance) to perform daily finance and accounting tasks that will support our finance team. Your responsibilities will include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases, and reconciling invoices. If you have an accounting degree and are interested in gaining experience, wed like to meet you.
Selected Interns Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• Financial Transactions & Record-Keeping:
• Raise daily invoices and record payment receipts in Excel and accounting software.
• Accurately record all transactions in the cashbook.
• Compile and review financial information, including receipts, invoices, and tax forms.
  
• Accurately reconcile transactions with Bank statements.
• Accruals & Expense Management: Possess basic knowledge in managing accrued income, expenses, revenue, and interest.
• Tax Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
• Handle all aspects of tax compliance, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations.
• Work closely with external teams like Chartered Accountants and Legal teams to ensure financial reporting and legal compliance are completed on time.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Help prepare financial statements and reports, providing insights into the companys financial status.

• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts by analyzing past financial data.
• Payroll Management: Assist with payroll activities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Administrative & Support Functions:
• Perform general administrative tasks such as answering queries from employees, clients, or vendors, and maintain filing systems.
• Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
