Job Description
- As an Associate Consultant, you will be expected to have 9-15 years of experience and work in locations such as Chennai and Nagpur. Your role will involve expertise in IP networking, including routing, switching, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, NTP, and Radius protocols. You should have hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Access Points (APs), and various Cisco wireless technologies.
Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco-based wireless network solutions to ensure optimal coverage, performance, and scalability. You will configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers to maintain seamless operation and connectivity across access points. Additionally, overseeing the installation, configuration, and management of Cisco Access Points will be part of your duties to meet network requirements and security standards.
You will be required to implement and maintain secure wireless networks using Cisco security features such as WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). Monitoring network performance, optimizing performance, and identifying issues like congestion, interference, and coverage gaps using tools like Cisco Prime Infrastructure and DNA Center will also be essential.

Expert-level support for troubleshooting wireless network issues, firmware, and software updates on controllers and access points, documentation of configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps, along with providing periodic reports on network health, performance, and security are crucial aspects of this role. Collaboration with IT teams, network engineers, and stakeholders for system interoperability, as well as providing training and support on Cisco wireless solutions and best practices, will also be part of your responsibilities.,
