Product Lead – Acquisition & Onboarding Journeys

ABOUT THE ROLE

HDFC Securities operates two broking platforms — HDFC Sky, our mobile-first discount broking app, and InvestRight, our full-service platform. This role owns the entire top of the funnel across both: the pre login websites (www.hdfcsec.com and www.hdfcsky.com), the referral programme, and every KYC and account-opening journey, end to end. You will also own the Martech stack that powers acquisition and early activation, including CleverTap and Nudge Engine, our in-house CDP.

It is a builders role with a leaders scope — you will lead a team of product managers, but you are expected to stay close to the data and the journeys yourself.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Full-funnel ownership: Acquisition and onboarding journeys end to end across HDFC Sky and InvestRight — from first touch to a funded, trading-ready account.
• Digital assets: The pre-login website, landing pages, and the referral/Refer & Earn programme.
• KYC journeys: New account opening, Re-KYC and e-modification journeys — improving drop-offs, turnaround time and first-time-right rates while staying fully within SEBI, exchange and internal compliance requirements.
• Martech and CDP: CleverTap and Nudge Engine — segmentation, journey orchestration, nudges
• Funnel KPIs: Cost per acquisition, lead-to-account conversion, KYC completion rate, time to first trade and early activation.
• Team: Hire, coach and grow a team of 5–7 product managers; set goals, review specs and raise the analytical bar.
• Cross-functional delivery: Work with engineering, design, marketing, operations, risk, compliance and the HDFC Bank channel to get things shipped.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 8+ years in product management, with meaningful time spent on high-volume consumer digital funnels — fintech, broking, banking or a comparable D2C business.
• Data analytics as a core competency — this is non-negotiable. Ability to interrogate data rather than to extract it: knowing which MIS and data cuts to ask for, reading funnels, cohorts and drop-offs closely, spotting what the numbers are not saying, and converting that into shipped product changes. Comfort with product analytics tools (CleverTap, Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4 or equivalent) and with designing and reading A/B tests is expected
• Hands-on experience with Martech or CDP platforms and lifecycle campaign design.
• A track record of measurable funnel improvement, not just feature delivery.
• Experience managing product managers, with the judgement to know when to delegate and when to go deep yourself.
• High ownership — you take accountability for outcomes end to end, without waiting to be asked.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication, with the ability to hold your own in front of senior business, technology and compliance audiences.
• Experience with regulated onboarding — KYC/AML, digital identity, e-sign or video KYC flows.
• Familiarity with the Indian broking, wealth or capital markets landscape.
• Exposure to AI-assisted or conversational onboarding journeys.

Location: Andheri MIDC, Mumbai. This is an in-office role.
