Role Overview:

The Planning Head will lead the end-to-end supply chain planning function, ensuring seamless alignment between market demand and production capabilities. This role involves working closely with sales, manufacturing, and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce stock-outs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. By leveraging data-driven insights and advanced planning tools, the incumbent will play a critical role in scaling operations and supporting the companys growth trajectory in a highly competitive FMCG market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integrated demand and supply planning process to ensure product availability across all distribution channels while minimizing carrying costs.
• Drive process automation initiatives to replace manual planning workflows with scalable, tech-enabled solutions that enhance forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to incorporate market intelligence and promotional activities into the demand planning cycle.
• Manage production scheduling and material requirements planning to ensure optimal utilization of manufacturing resources and raw material availability.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions that improve service levels and operational efficiency.
• Mentor and lead the planning team to foster a culture of analytical rigor and proactive problem-solving.

Required Skillset:

• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex supply and demand planning cycles within the FMCG or retail sector.
• Proven ability to design and implement automation frameworks that streamline planning processes and reduce human error.
• Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in advanced planning tools, ERP systems, and data visualization platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and align them toward common operational goals.
• A minimum of 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning or operations management.
• Strong educational background, preferably an MBA or a degree in Engineering from a premier institute.
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment at our Bangalore office, maintaining high levels of collaboration and team engagement.
