About the Role

Are you passionate about sourcing innovation and building strategic partnerships? We’re looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager – Contract Manufacturing Sourcing to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in identifying and onboarding top-tier manufacturing partners for Nutraceuticals and Personal Care products, drive cost efficiencies, and manage end-to-end sourcing for new product development.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Negotiation with contract manufacturers

• 
  Lead open-book costing discussions with third party manufacturers.
• Benchmark and negotiate competitive pricing without compromising quality
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing ,scale efficiencies , yield recovery , waste management etc.
• Conduct quarterly / half yearly business review meetings and publish Supplier Performance scorecard
• Detailed analysis of the conversion cost – ground verification of each cost elements

Contract Manufacturer Development

• Identify and evaluate new third-party manufacturers in Food and Nutraceutical category aligned with business goals
• Conduct technical, quality, and commercial due diligence of new potential contract manufacturer
• Maintain a robust vendor database by category and capability
• Conduct market research on new products concepts aligned with business strategy

Contract & Agreement Management

• Negotiate third party contract manufactuer supply agreements, development contracts, and NDAs
• Monitoring agreement records , work to bring the industry best practices for the agreement compliance.

• Ensure compliance by collaborating with Finance, Legal, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Regulatory teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with internal teams across the sourcing lifecycle
• Facilitate vendor meetings and resolve technical/operational challenges

Reporting & Analytics

• Maintain sourcing trackers and dashboards
• Present insights on vendor performance, cost matrices, and risk areas
• Should be expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations
