Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance predictive models and machine learning algorithms for financial services applications across credit risk, fraud detection, marketing analytics, and customer segmentation etc.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and select relevant features to enhance model performance.
- Utilize Python, SAS, or R to build, test, and deploy models.
- Develop and maintain clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data-driven solutions.
- Ensure model governance, validation, and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in a data science or quantitative analytics role.
- Industry Background: At least 1.5 years in one of the banking, NBFC, HFC, or consulting companies (in financial services sector).
- Proficiency in Python/SAS/R and SQL for data analysis and model development.
- Hands on experience in the E2E development and implementation of ML or Statistical models in the financial services domain (Bank, NBFC, or HFC).
- Knowledge of financial regulations and model validation techniques.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Educational Qualifications:
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech/B.Sc/M.Sc in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Operations Research.
