Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:

Supporting Actions

Mechanical maintenance

Carry out Preventive maintenance, Predictive maintenance and Breakdown maintenance of all equipment in Alupuram works Ensure optimum usage of condition based maintenance technologies. Outsource identified maintenance activities.

CAPEX Projects

Implement projects as per implementation plan and schedule. Ensure cost with in approved amount.

Integrated Management System (ISO-9001,ISO-14001 and OHSAS- 18001)

Maintain the system as required including calibration, updating of procedures/SOPs. Conduct regular audits

Training and development

Identify training needs of all employees. Conduct technical training. Arrange for other trainings

Safety

Ensure safety of equipment and personal by following good safety practices. Ensure everyone make use of relevant PPEs. Follow permit system wherever required.

Statutory requirements

Ensure equipment like material handling equipment, pressure vessels, etc. meets all statutory requirements.

Spare parts management

Spares management with the help of materials

department Develop new vendors. Techno commercial discussions with the new and existing vendors to develop spares. Identify spares for new equipment. Review bin items and take corrective actions.

R & M Cost

Assist DH in preparation of budget and ensure spending with in approved plan. Develop vendor for better service at reduced cost. Analyze variations and take corrective steps

Water treatment

Ensure hygienic potable water after treating the river water.

Utility systems:

Maintenance of all utility installations to ensure minimum interruption on account of utilities.
