Job Description

You will be working in the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Transportation facility is available with cab services for one-way travel at 11:00 PM. However, cabs will not be provided for the 2:00 PM shift. Dinner facility is provided. The mode of interview is Face to Face in Chennai.

You should have a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience as a software tester with a proven track record in defining and leading QA cycles, especially with Telematics systems. Proficiency in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver is required. Strong knowledge in Cypress is mandatory, and hands-on experience would be advantageous. You should also have experience with test automation frameworks like Junit, TestNG, and BDD Cucumber framework.
Your responsibilities will include expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Test Configuration Management. You should possess knowledge of testing methodologies such as functional, regression, and acceptance testing. Designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications is essential.

You will be conducting functional, UI, regression, and cross-browser testing to ensure product quality. Logging and tracking defects using tools like JIRA, and ensuring timely resolution will be part of your duties. Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and identify potential issues early on is crucial. Executing exploratory and ad-hoc testing to discover edge cases and unforeseen issues is also expected.
Ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables, providing detailed feedback and status updates, participating in sprint meetings, test estimations, and retrospectives in an Agile environment are key tasks. Conducting post-deployment and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to validate releases will also be part of your role.,
