Role Summary :
The dual-role leader will spearhead the technology and digital agenda across the Pensions business and the group's Omnichannel Distribution Platform. You will own the SaaS platform roadmap, governance, AI-led transformation, and end-to-end application ownership across the distribution stack.
Key Responsibilities :
1. CTO - Pensions :
- Full Stack Ownership : Manage the complete technology stack for the Pensions business, including core systems, digital channels, integrations, and regulatory tech.
- Compliance & Growth : Drive PFRDA compliance and audit readiness. Partner with business leaders to improve growth and persistency outcomes through technical innovation.
2. Head of Technology - B2D (Business to Distributor) :

- Platform Vision : Lead the roadmap for the ground-up omnichannel distribution platform-the "single pane of glass" for distributors across all group entities.
- End-to-End Ownership : Manage onboarding, sales enablement, and performance management modules, including the product, platform, and the surrounding SaaS ecosystem.
- SaaS Management : As the App Owner, maintain CR (Change Request) discipline, journey simplification, and field feedback loops.
3. Operational Excellence & Adoption :
- Vendor Governance : Manage vendor relationships and enforce outcome-linked SLAs.
- Metrics-Driven Growth : Sustain and grow adoption baselines by tracking DAU/MAU, feature-level usage, login frequency, and stickiness ratios.
- Continuous Improvement : Tie platform releases to measurable adoption lifts. Conduct monthly reviews on drop-off points and low-usage cohorts to optimize the user journey.
Must-Have Qualifications :
- Experience : 15+ years in BFSI technology, with at least 5 years in a CTO or equivalent platform leadership role.
- SaaS Expertise : Proven experience in SaaS vendor governance (e.g., Vymo, LeadSquared, Salesforce, conversation intelligence, and dialer platforms).
- Tech Stack : Hands-on experience with AI/agentic systems, Voice AI, and conversion-funnel optimization.
- Regulatory Knowledge : Strong grasp of DPDP, IRDAI/PFRDA regulatory landscapes, and AI governance.
- Scale : A proven track record of building or scaling distribution platforms in Insurance, Banking, or Wealth Management.
- Leadership Style : Fluent in both distributor journeys and architectural trade-offs; equally comfortable selling a vision to the CEO and debugging a CR with a vendor.
Domain Expertise :
- Domain Depth : Deep expertise in the Insurance or Pensions sectors.
- Cloud Proficiency : Relevant Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).
- Communication : Exceptional executive presence with experience in C-suite storytelling and board presentations.
