Manager - Accounts & Finance - Benglauru

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee the end-to-end accounting operations within a mid-sized IT or IT enabled services organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accounting, taxation, treasury management, auditing, financial planning, and compliance, along with the ability to streamline processes, enhance financial controls, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Our client is a technology and engineering services company providing simulation and software solutions for the automotive and related industries. With over 12 years of industry experience, the company supports leading global OEMs and customers including Mercedes-Benz R&D India, Stellantis, Honda, Subaru, Google Waymo, Fiat Chrysler, and Skoda. Its offerings include engineering services, software licensing, and technology solutions.

Location: Vasanth Nagar, Bengaluru

Designation: Manager - Accounts & Finance

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Operations

  • Oversee daily accounting operations using Zoho Books, including receivables, payables, invoicing, expenses, and bank reconciliations, interest handling, various other reconciliations.
  • Manage general ledger, revenue and expenditure analysis, and project budgeting/forecasting.
  • Handle payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and related queries.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of assets, liabilities, depreciation, amortization, prepaid expenses, and provisions.
  • Handle Prepaid & Provisions process monthly
  • Maintain accounting controls by recommending and implementing robust policies and procedures.

2. Tax & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, income tax, and payroll-related compliances.
  • Coordinate with consultants for tax assessments and statutory notices.

3. Treasury Management

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, investments, and banking relationships.
  • Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow projections.
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and optimal fund utilization.

4. Audit & Governance

  • Lead external audits, including preparation of financial statements and audit schedules.
  • Liaise with auditors and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

5. Financial Planning, Reporting & Banking Coordination

  • Prepare MIS reports, including P&L, cash flow, and financial position statements.
  • Track revenue forecasts vs. actuals and highlight variances.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage bank correspondence, support bankers with requisite reports & documents and renewal of credit facilities.

6. Co-ordination with Group Company

  • Support accounting and payroll functions of subsidiary and holding company located outside of India in coordination with consultants.

7. Strategic Initiatives

  • Enhance MIS reporting through dashboards and data-driven insights.
  • Drive automation, process improvements, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions and growth.

8. Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of advanced Accounting Principles, IGAAP, Statutory laws, etc
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, with Advanced Excel skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, Zoho CRM
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Strong coordination and cross-functional collaboration

Education: SQ CA/Graduate

Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience

Working days: Monday to Friday
