Team Manager - Plant Mechanical Design

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan resources in the medium to long term and allocate them based on tender and project forecasts in coordination with the global organization.
• Ensure departmental KPIs such as on-time delivery, first pass yield (FPY), and productivity are met, achieve financial budget targets, review and approve techno-economic offerings in tenders/projects, and evaluate risks and opportunities.
• Conduct routine reviews and follow-ups with project teams, cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers, and recruit personnel according to the headcount budget.
• Uphold Hitachi Energy Group's compliance, integrity, and health and safety standards within the team.
• Conduct personnel assessments and reviews, set targets for direct reports, identify development areas for individuals, implement necessary actions, identify key competency areas, and engage in succession planning.
• Participate in strategic initiatives, develop local strategies and roadmaps, explore future scope expansions and competency development, and drive operational improvements within the local organization.
• Ensure compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications Required:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Line Manager/Team Leader overseeing teams of at least 15+ members.
• Have experience in HVDC/FACTS systems and primary design of HVDC/FACTS/substations.
• Basic knowledge in HVDC/FACTS/substation is preferred.
• Exhibit good intercultural sensitivity and strong leadership and communication skills.
