Role & responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability of pig iron manufacturing.
- Operations Management : Oversee end-to-end plant operations including raw material sourcing, production, quality control, and dispatch while ensuring cost optimization.

- Process Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production processes, energy efficiency, and resource utilization to maximize output and reduce wastage.
- Financial Oversight : Prepare and manage budgets, monitor cost control measures, and ensure profitability targets are met or exceeded.
- Compliance & Safety : Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations, and implement best practices to maintain safe working conditions.
- Technology & Innovation : Introduce advanced technologies, automation, and sustainable practices to maintain competitive edge in the pig iron sector.
- Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality, HR, and supply chain to achieve operational excellence.
- Stakeholder Management : Coordinate with senior leadership, suppliers, government authorities, and customers to strengthen business relationships and ensure smooth operations.
- Performance Monitoring : Establish KPIs for productivity, quality, and efficiency; review performance reports regularly and take corrective actions where needed.
- Expansion & Growth : Support business development by identifying new markets, capacity expansion opportunities, and strategic partnerships to scale pig iron operations.
