Senior Data Analyst, Commodity And Equity Markets

Job Purpose

The IDD Market Data Management team, is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and driven Market Data Analyst, to investigate, validate and curate market data in commodity and equity derivatives.

Establish and implement data management procedures, tools, and methodologies to reflect the ongoing needs of the Commodity and Equity markets. Connect, verify and ensure proper data flow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility of data for the Commodity and Equity derivatives product.
• Responsible for providing customers with accurate and timely answers to their data related questions.
• Proactively design, build and maintain reports and dash boards in addition to monitoring and maintaining the integrity and validity of the data.
• Work with a large amount of data and build tools to streamline the process.
• Implement methods and models of data cleansing, data view and quality assurance.
• Research and explore data, using high level analytical tools in a high-level technical environment.
• Work closely with other internal departments and resources including, Product Management, R&D and operations to develop workflows, quality assurance processes and product enhancements.

• BA/BSc in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistic, Financial Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in a dataBI role.
• Experience in the financial industry.
• Experience working with data products and platforms.
• Strong analytic and organizational skills with acute attention to details.
• Vast Knowledge of SQL - a must.
• 3+ years of experience working with Python - a must.
• Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills to solve problems, understanding of statistical models.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams to facilitate data management processes and solutions.
• Ability to work as a part Agile global team
• MBA /MA - an advantage.

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
