Generative AI Engineer

Job Title: Gen AI Engineer, Agentic AI

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership: Design and architect scalable, robust, and secure Agentic AI solutions across our Java, Python, Node.js, and React.js, Angular applications.
• Agent Development: Lead the development of AI agents for various lending processes, including loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and customer interaction.
• LLM Integration: Evaluate, integrate, and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) to enable natural language understanding, generation, and complex reasoning within AI agents.
• Tooling and Frameworks: Develop and implement the necessary tooling, frameworks, and infrastructure to support the development, deployment, and monitoring of AI agents.
• Data Strategy: Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to define data requirements, data pipelines, and data governance strategies for training and optimizing AI agents.
• Innovation and Research: Stay at the forefront of Agentic AI research and identify opportunities to apply new techniques and technologies to enhance our platform.
• Mentorship and Guidance: Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to other engineers on AI/ML best practices and agentic system design.
• 
  Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.1
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of AI-driven lending solutions.

Qualification:

• Education: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of designing and building complex, enterprise-grade applications.
• AI/ML Expertise:
• Deep understanding of AI/ML principles, particularly in the area of Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic systems.
• Experience in developing and deploying AI agents using frameworks and tools.

  Strong knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and deep learning techniques.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, React.js, and Angular.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Strong cloud computing experience, particularly with AWS.
• Experience with software development best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and testing.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges into manageable solutions.
• Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical2 audiences.
• Leadership: Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to other engineers.
