As a GBO People Process Specialist, your main responsibility will be to safeguard service standardization while implementing change and improvements in processes, with respect to delivery according to agreed goals across all GBO delivery networks.
You’re the perfect match for the role if:
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the P&C/HR area
• Solid and practical knowledge of P&C processes including their LFR aspects in assigned areas. Understanding the importance of standardization and the impact of deviations from standard on business, especially in systems and workload related aspects. Understanding and following the improvement methodology.

Your responsibilities and assignments will include:

• Actively support process improvements/standardization/change and systems implementation with simplification, cost-consciousness, consistent user experiences and service excellence in mind
• Support GBO People Process Expert and Senior Specialist by collaborating with GBO process/country, aligning specialists and gathering their feedback as part of virtual CoEs for process/systems implementations
• Work closely with GBO People Service Delivery and CI teams in assigned area, analyse data to provide support for meaningful insights and decisions, especially in search for improvement opportunities
• In case of the process/WoW change, support and coordinate activities between GBO People Operations, GBO Continuous Improvement as well as P&C CoEs, Digital People Domain and Global People Services team to ensure successful implementation in assigned area
• Safeguard standard usage of key processes in scope, identify deviations and provide guidelines and support in service delivery in assigned area

Global Business Operation (GBO) is a function within the IKEA Group of companies. We work with transactional services in the field of Finance and People and Culture (P&C). We deliver our services through our regional hubs, located in Poznan, Shanghai, Bangalore and Baltimore. To provide professional, service minded, support to the core business – that’s our business! To secure best practice, efficient end-to-end P&C administration processes from the co-worker, line manager & P&C unit to GBO for service delivery. Working together to achieve IKEA performance goals by freeing the business to focus on the core objectives.
