Job Description

• Graduate/Master’s Degree in law with 15+ years of Legal Leasing professional experience in a real estate organization/developer specializing in shopping centre/mixed-use projects/commercial (Leased developments)
• Good knowledge, skill and experience in drafting, negotiation, closure and examination of a wide range of contracts and legal documents
• To handle ancillary legal related matters such as legal invoicing, legal research, litigation, regulatory compliance, liaison, legal advise and counselling, document archival and retrieval etc.
• Willingness to quickly familiarize oneself with new topics, even outside the classic legal activity and understand business needs.
• Assertiveness as well as confident.
• Competence and skill in conducting negotiations and leading discussions.
• Strong analytical skills and structured approach.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Confident in handling of MS-Office.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES As a Legal Specialist you will review, support and secure the legal aspects of the business and processes at Ingka in India and will:
• Draft and/or review LOI, MOU, Agreement to Lease, Lease Deed, Bank guarantees and such other legal documents as may be required from time to time.
• Experienced and expertised in reviewing, drafting and negotiating the contractual terms of the LOI, MOU, Agreement to Lease, Lease Deed etc. with the tenants lawyers/law firm/tenant representatives and finalize/close the document securing the legal aspects of Ingkas business and activities. • Work with the relevant internal and external stakeholders and build good relationships with them to ensure sustainable solutions for both sides
• Proactively support the Company and other stakeholders to reduce legal risks/adhere to compliance and optimize business opportunities
• Design, negotiation and review of contracts and legal documents from time to time and inline with the market changes/developments.
• Processing and support of judicial and extrajudicial Litigation
• contribute to and support the implementation of the business plan, development projects and related roadmap
• Implementation of standard processes and working methods
• Competence development and training of relevant specialist departments
• Stay informed of relevant international and local legal developments, including changes in international and national laws; and Regulations as well as the case law.
