Chief Operating Officer - Manufacturing Operations - Chemicals

COO (20-30 yrs)

The mandate is to lead and scale a multi-site manufacturing and operations platform serving customers across 35+ countries, with responsibility spanning Manufacturing, Supply Chain, EHS, Quality, Projects, R&D Commercialization, operational excellence, profitability, capacity expansion, greenfield projects and Digital Transformation.
A key part of the role will be driving project execution, including commissioning and commercial ramp-up of a major new manufacturing facility. The COO will work closely with the Board / senior leadership to translate business strategy into measurable operational and financial outcomes.
We are looking for a senior chemical-industry leader with:
- Chemistry graduates / Chemical engineers with 20+ years of experience in Specialty/Fine Chemicals, Advanced Materials or Chemical Manufacturing
- 5+ years at COO / President Operations / Chief Manufacturing Officer / Cluster Manufacturing Head level
- Experience managing multi-site operations, 1,200+ employees and 500 Cr+ business scale
- Exposure to manufacturing excellence, P&L, EHS, supply chain and large-scale projects
- Experience in green chemistry, continuous flow, electrochemistry, high-purity chemicals or new plant commissioning

Direct the comprehensive manufacturing operations across multiple chemical plant locations to ensure seamless production cycles and consistent product quality.

- Spearhead large-scale manufacturing project management initiatives, including plant expansions and technology upgrades, to enhance capacity and long-term asset utilization.

- Champion process excellence and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce operational costs, minimize waste, and optimize resource allocation across all sites.
