Role Summary

As one of the UAEs most renowned international luxury Home Furnishing companies, we are seeking a creative, technical and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our design team. You will support our talented designers with design development, producing accurate technical drawings, preparing mood boards, coordinating with both internal & external teams and ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Designers in developing concept designs, space planning, and furniture layouts.
• Produce detailed 2D drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and basic joinery details, to translate design concepts into executable plans, using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Prepare mood boards, material boards, and presentation packages for client meetings.
• Create accurate FF&E schedules, including furniture specifications, finishes, and quantities.
• Conduct site visits to take measurements, verify layouts, and ensure drawings match actual conditions.
• Update drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and design revisions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project requirements.
  
• Support in selecting furniture, fabrics, finishes, and accessories aligned with the project concept and budget.
• Coordinate with the retail team, procurement, and suppliers to ensure correct products, materials and items are ordered.
• Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure high‑quality execution of the design concept throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
• Good understanding of materials, furniture, finishes, and interior design principles
• Ability to read and produce detailed technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in client-facing interactions and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, sales teams, and suppliers.
• A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and design quality.
• Flexibility to adjust to evolving project needs and timelines.
• Familiarity with UAE market trends and furnishing styles is preferred
