Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier evaluation, managing purchase orders, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Tasks include conducting vendor assessments, handling contractual negotiations, preparing and issuing Request for Quotations (RFQs), and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. Additionally, the role involves monitoring market trends to ensure cost-efficiency and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Material Procurement

• Source and purchase construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, MEP items, and finishing materials.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to various project sites.

Vendor Management

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• 
  Maintain and update approved vendor lists.

Cost Control

• Obtain competitive quotations from multiple suppliers.
• Analyze cost trends and support in reducing procurement expenses.

Contract & Purchase Order Management

• Prepare purchase orders, agreements, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and project specifications.

Coordination

• Work closely with project engineers, QS teams, and site managers.
• Track material consumption and forecast future requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory.
• Prepare and submit regular procurement reports.

Requirements

• Must have UAE experience in procurement within the construction sector.
• Minimum 4 years experience, including high-rise building projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor-relation skills.
• Ability to join immediately.
