Director - Technology

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Director of Technology to lead the organization's technology and product strategy. The ideal candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, driving the development of scalable digital platforms while leading high-performing engineering, product, and design teams. This role requires close collaboration with the CTO to align technology initiatives with business goals and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the organization's technology and product vision.
• Design and scale secure, user-centric web and mobile platforms.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product, Design, and UX.
• Drive Agile product development and roadmap execution.
• Implement best practices in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and platform security.
• Build scalable data architecture and ensure ethical data governance.
• Collaborate with government, operations, and fundraising teams to deliver impactful technology solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and AI trends to drive innovation.
• Partner with the CTO on organizational technology strategy.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• 15+ years of experience in technology and product leadership.
• Strong experience building and scaling large digital platforms.
• Expertise in cloud technologies, microservices, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and secure system architecture.
• Proven leadership in product strategy, UX, and engineering execution.
• Experience working with scalable data platforms and analytics.
• Ability to identify operational challenges and implement technology-driven solutions.
