Data Scientist - AI/ML

Position: AI/ML Engineer

Location: Nagpur/Pune/Chennai/Bangalore

Purpose of the Position: As a Data Scientist, this position requires candidate who are enthusiastic about specialized skills in machine learning, programming, data analysis, and problem-solving. As a member of the team, you will help our clients, by building Models that supports to progress on their AI ML journey.

Key Result Areas and Activities:

• AI Solution Design, Development, and Deployment - Design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and AI Solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to understand business requirements and translate them into AI/ML solutions.
• Research and Update
  
  - Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Model Evaluation and Improvement - Evaluate and improve existing machine learning models for performance optimization and scalability.
• Share and Build Expertise - Develop and share expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning domain and actively mine the experience and expertise in the organization for sharing across teams and clients in the firm. Support the Business Consulting COE initiatives.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and AI Solutions in a production environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or others commonly used in AI/ML development.
• Experience working on Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK) Library for natural language processing.
• Strong with SQL and Data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision techniques

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with open source and managed products, automation technologies, and Shell scripting.

• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Databricks, and knowledge of version control tools like Git and Bitbucket.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and their AI/ML services, with experience in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.

Qualifications:

• Overall work experience of 7- 9 years with minimum of 5 years experience on Machine Learning or Gen AI projects.
• Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
