L2 Openshift Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage OpenShift clusters including provisioning, registration, patching, and scaling.
• Handle container lifecycle management (creation, deployment, health checks, updates).
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Perform backup and restore (PV/PVC) for critical applications.

• Manage user access, RBAC, and container registry.
• Troubleshoot incidents, escalate when needed, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Work with monitoring tools like Prometheus/Zabbix for cluster health and performance.
• Support routine updates, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 46 years of relevant experience in OpenShift & Kubernetes.
• Hands-on knowledge of container lifecycle management, Dockerfile & image management.

Get Hired
• Strong in Linux OS administration and patching.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub).
• Knowledge of RBAC, LDAP integration, and ITIL processes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred candidate profile

OpenShift/Kubernetes Engineer with strong Linux skills, hands-on CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub), container management, monitoring tools, and production support experience. Immediate joiner preferred.
