DevOps Engineer

Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to manage the end-to-end deployment, configuration, and performance optimization of our enterprise transportation management platform. In this critical role, you will oversee the infrastructure and automation processes that ensure reliable, secure, and scalable application delivery across multiple environments.
You will be responsible for system availability, release packaging and deployment, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and cross-team collaboration to support ongoing innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the deployment, tuning, and maintenance of enterprise applications, including all supporting components and services.
• Manage deployments on MS Azure and AWS cloud platforms
• Monitor system health and generate performance reports to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Package and deploy software releases in coordination with project management and development teams.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application-level issues; resolve independently or escalate to the appropriate team.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined and automated delivery processes.

• Maintain secure, compliant environments across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Implement and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support DevOps best practices, from configuration management to disaster recovery planning.

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or systems engineering.
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• ITIL Expert certified (or equivalent process and operations management knowledge).
• Strong experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Proficient in Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with application deployment for PHP and JavaScript-based solutions.
• Database administration skills in MySQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with Kafka, application clustering, and distributed systems.
• Skilled in CI/CD tools and workflows.

• Understanding of network and web security best practices.
• Proficiency in GitHub and JIRA for source control and issue tracking.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Exposure to the transportation or logistics domain.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
