The role with IA is an exciting position with opportunities to work closely with business and investment leaders that are driving the industry throughout the world. For each new customer relationship, Insight Alpha aligns a range of solutions with the learning needs of senior and mid-level prospective users. This strategic, solutions-focused sale is highly consultative and typically leverages internal product/technical specialists to underscore the value of Insight Alphas integrated products and services.
We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Business Development Senior Associate. The ideal candidates will be responsible for developing strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives. They will also cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. This role involves outbound calling and requires excellent communication skills, a presentable appearance, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
  • Directly engage and build relationships with senior professionals from Banks, Corporations, Governments, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, & Public Equity firms.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads by gathering essential information and interest levels, and accurately record this data in our CRM system.
  • Articulate Insight Alphas premium brand, offering and value proposition in a differentiated manner.
  • Drafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
  • Work creatively and collaboratively with internal colleagues to accelerate the sales cycle and close new business.
  • Remaining in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.
  • Identify opportunities for Clients by promoting new products or services that will help improve Insight Alphas business and drive revenue growth.
  • Spearhead world-class user and team onboarding sessions with new client firms.
  • Effectively communicate Insight Alphas Mission, Vision, and Strategy.
  • Represent the core values that underpin Insight Alphas culture.
  • Develop strong connections with clients to make sure they come back for more business.

Qualifications
Candidates for this position should have a demonstrated ability to be creative and commercial and/or have a track record of overachieving in a performance-based environment, preferably but not exclusively, in the financial services industry. A demonstrated interest in and understanding of the content that matters to our prospects is vital.
Candidates should be comfortable articulating the value of Insight Alphas primary research platform vis--vis the broader landscape of professional services offerings in the marketplace (i.e. conceptual or solutions selling) across a wide range of price points.
Additional candidate qualifications include:
  • Post-Graduation from a Top-tier university, preferably from a Finance background.
  • 0-3 years of demonstrated success in one or more of these fields.
    • Financial services industry sales (new business).
    • Diligence, consulting or independent research for investment managers.
    • Investment professional or consultant working in a performance-driven environment.
