Senior Accountant

AED up to AED 23,000 + Medical & Air ticketWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant/ Accounting Manager to independently manage the full finance and accounting function for two small legal entities within a wider group structure. This role will act as the sole finance lead for the division, with full responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and taxation, while maintaining close coordination with the corporate finance team.The ideal candidate will be hands-on, commercially aware, and comfortable operating autonomously, with strong technical accounting expertise and fluency in Arabic and English.Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounting function for two entities, from transaction processing to final reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and group reporting requirements
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close
• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and accounting records
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit queries to completion

• Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with operational stakeholders
• Monitor actuals vs budget and provide variance analysis with clear commentary
• Produce management reports and financial insights to support decision-making at both divisional and corporate levels
  

• Manage all taxation requirements for both entities, including VAT compliance, filings, and reconciliations
• Ensure adherence to UAE tax laws, regulations, and statutory reporting obligations
• Liaise with tax advisors and regulatory bodies where required

• Implement and maintain strong financial controls and accounting policies
• Ensure compliance with group policies, internal controls, and governance frameworks
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency

• Act as the primary finance point of contact for the division
• Work closely with the head office finance team to ensure alignment with group standards and timelines
• Support management with financial queries, analysis, and ad-hoc reporting

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess an accounting or related degree in addition to a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CMA or CPA

Get Hired
• Minimum 5-8 years' accounting experience, preferably within the UAE
• Proven experience independently managing the full finance function for small to medium-sized entities
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, and VAT
• Experience reporting into a corporate or group finance structure

• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
• Highly independent, reliable, and detail-oriented
