Job Description
1. Monitor and inspect the production process to ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulations.
2. Identify, document, and analyse process non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
3. Conduct in-process audits, first piece approvals, patrol inspections, and end-of-line checks.
4. Work with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Engineering) to resolve quality issues in real-time.
5. Use quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, and FMEA for problem-solving and process improvement.
6. Responsible to give inputs for Metallurgy department
7. Ensure that all measuring equipment and gauges are calibrated and properly used at in-process stages.
