JOB TITLE: Sr. Technical Consultant - Network and Security
JOB PURPOSE: Manage Network & Security
QUALIFICATION: B. Tech/B.E or Equivalent
Certifications

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
CompTIA Network+
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
NSE4 or above (Fortinet) or
DLP, ENS and EDR certifications
CEH
OSCP

EXPERIENCE: 6+ Years
REPORTING TO: Service Delivery Manager

Responsibilities (includes All Tasks)

Ensure high availability and reliable performance of the Network.
Ensure a good quality of service for the business-critical applications and ensure the network services are available to the users.
Management of Network devices like Router, Switches, Local Area Network Devices, Wireless Devices, Unified Communication devices, Firewalls, Load Balancers, WAF, NAC, etc.
Hands-on experience on support and maintenance corporate networks using enterprise-level network products - Enterprise-level products include but are not limited to: Aruba Networks, Cisco Systems, Dell Networking, Extreme Networks, Fortinet, H3C, Huawei, Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks, etc.
Experience on working with Huawei Network Technologies and troubleshooting.
L1 (end-point related) and L2 (IP PBX related) troubleshooting
Liaising with the IP Telephony vendor/System Integrator for L3 (complex issues requiring major reconfiguration, software patches and updates, etc.)
Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure
Implementing measures to ensure efficient data flow and network speed.
Protecting the organization's network infrastructure
Implementing and maintaining security policies and procedures
Maintaining the regulatory systems about ISMS policy (Information System Management Systems)
Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Staying up to date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Technical Skills / Competencies
MANDATORY

Network Security Design and Implementation
Network Troubleshooting and Optimization
Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing
Security Policy and Compliance
TCP/IP network traffic and event log analysis
Experience in management of AV, IDS/IPS, Firewall, VPN, data encryption and other security products (Fort iGATE firewalls, Palo alto firewalls, McAfee endpoint security).
Troubleshooting Huawei Network products.
