Job Description
- Role Overview:
You will be a Junior Data Analyst based in Mumbai office and will play a crucial role in the data operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in delivering data and research in your assigned market. The team you will be a part of comprises 4 pillars with global coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search for, collect, and verify data for companies in your assigned market based on current collection methodologies and acceptable sources
- Address internal/client queries and requests to ensure alignment with data methodology and policy guidelines
- Maintain compliance with established work process standards to ensure the quality of collected data
- Meet pre-determined turn-around goals for work assignments
- Conduct root-cause analysis for identified data issues
- Update internal documents for performance metrics monitoring
- Participate in working committees/projects aside from core responsibilities
- Manage paper and electronic files as per ISS and client file retention policies
Qualifications:
- Post-Graduation in Finance and Economics
- Proficiency in using MS Office

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts easily
- Willingness to work beyond traditional working hours/days when required by the business
- Experience in data collection and analysis, corporate governance, and business research would be advantageous
