Job Description

Join ISS STOXX as a Senior Revenue Accountant in Mumbai (Goregaon East) and become a key member of our global finance team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Revenue Analysis and Accounting team of STOXX Business to manage daily and month-end revenue tasks for the Index business at your location. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work with diverse teams within the company, making it ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute significantly.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing and calculating accruals based on new contracts and billed items for month-end closing, preparing accounting vouchers, ensuring accuracy of month-end close bookings, conducting revenue analysis, preparing financial reports, maintaining the revenue share database, leading a local team of 2 analysts, and handling ad hoc requests and analysis locally.

To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification would be advantageous. Additionally, you must have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, including at least 2 years of team management experience. Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, effective communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office applications are essential. Fluency in English is required.
